Cake Covering Fondant
Ingredients
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Marshmallow - 7.1 oz
- Milk - 2 tablespoons
- Liquid dark chocolate - 3.5 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, melt the chocolate in a water bath, add the marshmallows, let them melt as well, mix everything together, and add the milk and butter.
Step 2
Mix everything well; you can use a mixer for this.
Step 3
Let the mixture cool slightly, and sift in the powdered sugar in small portions, mixing well each time.
Step 4
You should end up with a soft, elastic, non-sticky 'dough'. If you are not going to work with it immediately, wrap it in plastic wrap. Store it in the refrigerator.
Step 5
Do the same for the white (ivory) fondant. Use the same recipe as for the chocolate fondant, BUT, cut off the pink and white parts; we will need the white parts (from two packages).
