Ingredients

  • Sugar - 4 tablespoons
  • Wheat Flour - 2½ tablespoons
  • Chocolate eggs - 6 pieces
  • Vanillin - to taste
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Butter - 3.5 oz
  • Cocoa Powder - 3 tablespoons
  • Sour Cream - 4 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

To make the batter, we need to beat the eggs with vanillin and a cup of sugar, then add the flour, baking powder, and beat all the ingredients again. This is a foolproof sponge cake recipe that turns out fluffy and tender in all cases.

Step 2

To prevent the batter from sticking, grease the baking pan with butter or margarine.

Step 3

Pour the batter into the pan and place it in a preheated oven. Bake at moderate heat for about 1 hour. The oven temperature should be approximately 356°F.

Step 4

Next, prepare the cream. For this, beat half a cup of sugar with an egg, add vanillin, milk, and flour. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and place them over low heat. Cook the cream, stirring constantly, until it thickens.

Step 5

As soon as the cream thickens, remove it from the heat, add 50 g of butter, and beat everything again. Let the finished cream cool.

Step 6

Then prepare the glaze. Take a small pot and add the chopped butter (50 g). Place the pot over low heat and melt the butter. Next, add cocoa, sugar, sour cream, and vanillin. Mix everything and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved. The glaze should be stirred constantly to prevent burning, but it should not be brought to a boil.

Step 7

Cut the finished cake layer in half lengthwise. Spread all the cream on one half of the cake and smooth it out with a knife. Place the second half of the cake on top and generously drizzle everything with chocolate glaze.

Step 8

Place the prepared cake in the cold for 3-4 hours to soak. Enjoy your meal!
