Description
Cake 'Sweet Tooth'
Ingredients
- Chocolate eggs - 7 pieces
- Granulated sugar - 18.7 oz
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 2.1 oz
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Butter - 7.8 oz
- 20% Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Bananas - 2 pieces
- Milk - 7 fl oz
- White Chocolate - 8.8 oz
- Black Currant Jam - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the cream, take 150 grams of well-softened butter and mix it with sour cream and 200 grams of granulated sugar using a mixer until creamy.
Step 2
Make the glaze. Bring the milk to a boil and melt 150 grams of chopped white chocolate in it over low heat. Once the chocolate has melted, add 30 grams of cocoa powder and 100 grams of granulated sugar. Bring to a boil, then add 70 grams of butter, stir, and let cool.
Step 3
Cut the white cake layer in half lengthwise. Spread currant jam on the bottom half, cover it with the second white half, and spread cream on top. Arrange pre-sliced banana rounds on the cream, and cover with the chocolate cake layer.
Step 4
Spread the cooled glaze over the cake and refrigerate for 1 to 1.5 hours.
Step 5
Serve the finished cake sprinkled with 100 grams of crushed white chocolate.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 392°F. Beat the eggs with 8 tablespoons of hot water and 230 grams of granulated sugar. Sift the flour with the baking powder and mix it into the egg mixture.
Step 7
Separate 1/3 of the resulting mixture and mix it with 30 grams of cocoa powder. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 8
Bake the remaining white mixture under the same conditions.
