Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
  • Butter - 5.6 oz
  • Sugar - 3.2 oz
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Baking Powder - 0.4 oz
  • Pitted olives - 4.4 oz
  • Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
  • Candied fruits - 1.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Soak the dates in hot water for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 410°F. Grease a rectangular cake pan with 10 grams of butter and dust with 1 tablespoon of flour.

Step 3

Beat the butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time. Mix in the honey and the flour sifted with baking powder.

Step 4

Chop the candied ginger. Squeeze the dates, mix with the ginger and 1 tablespoon of flour. Fold into the main mixture.

Step 5

Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 356°F and bake for 30 minutes.
