- Hazelnut - 10.6 oz

Rinse the nuts in water and try to remove as much of the skin as possible. Preheat the oven to 356°F, spread the nuts on a baking tray, and bake them until done. This will take about fifteen minutes.

In the meantime, in a large pot, make the caramel by pouring water over the sugar and bringing it to a boil.
Step 3
Wait until the caramel takes on a slightly honeyed color, then dip in a batch of nuts — about a handful. Keep them in the caramel for about thirty seconds, then remove them using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate in a single layer so that they do not touch each other while their sugar coating hardens for about three minutes. Repeat the same process with the remaining nuts.
