Ingredients
- Milk - 17 fl oz
- Sugar - 7.9 oz
- Vanilla salt - 0.7 oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 4.4 oz
- Rum - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the milk. Add 125 grams of sugar and a packet of vanilla sugar, remove from heat and add the butter, stirring everything together. Allow the mixture to cool.
Step 2
Whisk the eggs with 100 grams of sugar, add the flour, combine everything with the milk, and add the rum. Mix well and refrigerate for 12 to 48 hours. Ideally, forget it overnight and bake the next day.
Step 3
If using copper molds, grease them with butter, pour the batter into the molds to 3/4 full, and bake at 392°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes. If using silicone molds, there is no need to grease them.
Step 4
Bake until a brown caramel color is achieved, sometimes even a little longer, about one and a half hours.
