- Water - 1 qt
- Sugar - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - 3 tablespoons
- Citric Acid - 1.5 teaspoons

Bring water (1 l) to a boil, add sugar (2 tablespoons) and salt (2 tablespoons).
Step 2
Add the peeled green peas and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.
Step 3
After cooking, drain the peas in a colander, let the water drain, and then place them in clean, sterilized half-liter jars, adding citric acid (½ teaspoon) to each.
Step 4
From the remaining water (½ l), salt (1 tablespoon), and sugar (1 tablespoon), prepare a new brine. Pour it into the jars with peas and seal them with sterilized lids.
Step 5
After cooling, store in the refrigerator.
