Ingredients
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Whole egg - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 4.2 oz
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Clarified Butter - 1.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 15.9 oz
- Baking Powder - ½ teaspoon
- Vanillin - ½ teaspoon
- Orange zest - 3 pieces
- Chopped almonds - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the eggs, yolks, sugar, honey, butter, and zest.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, sift the flour and add the baking powder, vanillin, and whole nuts.
Step 3
Combine all ingredients and shape the dough into two logs on a baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake for 20–30 minutes in a preheated oven at 160–356°F until almost fully cooked.
Step 5
While the log is still hot, slice it into pieces and return to the oven until dry.
