Description

- Light Corn Syrup - 3 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1½ tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
- Salt - ¾ teaspoon
- Cayenne Pepper - a pinch
- Pecan - 1½ cups
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C). Grease a large baking sheet.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix together the corn syrup, sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir well and add the nuts. Mix again and spread the nuts onto the prepared baking sheet.
Step 3
Place a sheet of foil on the work surface.
Step 4
Put the baking sheet with the nuts in the oven for 5 minutes, stir, and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown and caramelized.
Step 5
Transfer to the foil and quickly separate the nuts with a fork. Let cool.
