- Turnips - 21.2 oz
- Oranges - 1 piece
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Nuts - 8 tablespoons
- Cardamom - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the peeled carrots using a large grater.
Step 2
Peel the orange and lemon, and extract the juice from the fruits.
Step 3
Place the carrots in a heated pan to sauté them slightly. After a while, add the sugar to the carrots. Sauté until the sugar is completely melted.
Step 4
Then add the prepared orange juice and lemon juice, which need to be evaporated. After that, add the cardamom.
Step 5
Continue to simmer the carrots on low heat until the mixture is thick and sticky. Then remove the pan from the heat.
Step 6
The resulting carrot mixture will be like a dough, from which you should shape small balls. Roll these balls in ground nuts; we used pistachios.
