  • Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
  • Carrot - 9.9 oz
  • Sugar - 5.3 oz
  • Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
  • Nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
  • Salt - ½ teaspoon
  • Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 2 teaspoons
  • Lemon - ½ piece
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Powdered Sugar - 5.3 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Wash and peel the carrot, then grate it on a fine grater. Mix the flour, sugar, eggs, nutmeg, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon — beat everything at medium speed for about 8–10 minutes (add the ingredients gradually). Add the grated carrot to the batter and mix thoroughly.

Step 2

Grease a baking tray (25 cm) with butter. Pour in the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 40–50 minutes. When the pie is ready, take it out but do not remove it from the pan until it has completely cooled. Then take it out and place it on a serving dish.

Step 3

For the glaze, half a lemon will be enough (you can use lime if desired). Wash and zest the lemon. Squeeze out the juice, removing the seeds. Add the powdered sugar and mix thoroughly. Pour it over the pie, carefully spreading it across the surface.
