Ingredients
- Cashew - 7.1 oz
- Green Figs - 3.5 oz
- Maple syrup - 2 tablespoons
- Coconut Milk - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Nutmeg - ¼ teaspoon
- Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grind the cashews into a fine flour.
Step 2
Add the oil, a pinch of salt, syrup, and mix the dough with a spoon.
Step 3
Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll out an even sheet.
Step 4
Blend the figs with the spices and a spoonful of water into a paste.
Step 5
Remove the top sheet of paper from the dough. Spread the mixture on one half of the nut dough and cover with the other half (this is convenient as the dough is on a flexible sheet).
Step 6
Press the edge to seal the filling.
Step 7
Place in a preheated oven at 356°F for 10–15 minutes.
