Cat Paw Cookies with Chocolate
Ingredients
- Liquid dark chocolate - 2.8 oz
- Butter - 8.8 oz
- Vanilla salt - 0.4 oz
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Powdered Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- White Chocolate - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the dough, melt 80 g of dark chocolate and let it cool slightly. Whip the egg whites until soft peaks form. Using a mixer on low speed, blend the butter and vanilla sugar until creamy. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar, flour, and fold in the egg whites until smooth. Combine with the melted chocolate.
Step 2
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the dough in a pastry bag fitted with a star tip and pipe strips about 3 cm long onto the parchment. Bake for 10 minutes at 392°F. Carefully transfer to a wire rack and cool.
Step 3
Melt the dark and white chocolate separately in a water bath or microwave. Dip the cooled cookies in the dark and white chocolate. Place on a wire rack covered with plastic wrap and allow the glaze to set.
