Ingredients
- Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
- Salt - a pinch
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
- Vanillin - a pinch
- Honey - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Water - 0 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 12.3 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 17 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
In a bowl, crack the eggs, add salt and vanillin.
Step 3
Mix well.
Step 4
Add the flour and baking soda.
Step 5
Knead the dough.
Step 6
Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Step 7
Roll out to a thickness of 3–4 mm.
Step 8
Cut into thin strips.
Step 9
Heat the oil.
Step 10
Fry the dough in small batches for 2–3 minutes.
Step 11
Transfer the fried strips to a paper towel.
Step 12
In a pot, combine honey, sugar, and water.
Step 13
Bring to a boil.
Step 14
Pour the syrup over the prepared strips and mix.
Step 15
Place in a mold and let it sit for at least 1 hour.
Step 16
Remove the mold.
