Champagne and Lime Granita
Ingredients
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Water - 8 fl oz
- Orange juice concentrate - 24 fl oz
- Lime Juice - 1 fl oz
- Dry Champagne - 16 fl oz
- Lime - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 2
Add orange juice, champagne, and lime juice. Mix well, pour into a container, cover with a lid, and freeze for about 8 hours until solid.
Step 3
Remove the container from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Fluff the granita with a fork, spoon into dessert cups, and garnish with lime wedges.
