Ingredients
- Veal Mince - 17.6 oz
- Milk - 3 fl oz
- Onion - 7.1 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Boiling water - 8 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Salt - 2 teaspoons
- Olive Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil - 5 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Knead the dough. For this, pour 250 ml of boiling water over 250 g of flour and 1 teaspoon of salt to scald the flour. Mix well and let it cool slightly. Add 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil and mix well. Then, gradually add the remaining flour to knead the dough. Place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 2
While the dough is 'resting', prepare the filling. Pass 250 g of fatty pork and 250 g of beef through a meat grinder twice, add finely chopped onion, milk, 1 teaspoon of salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Step 3
Roll out the dough thinly, like for dumplings, about 2 mm thick. Use a glass to cut out circles for the future chebupeli.
Step 4
Place 1 heaping teaspoon of filling on each circle, fold the dough circle in half, and pinch the edges. You can connect the corners to make them look more like dumplings.
Step 5
Pour oil into a frying pan, heat it up. Fry the chebupeli on each side for 2 minutes over medium heat.
