Ingredients
- Cilantro - to taste
- Lean Beef - 7.1 oz
- Pork Mince - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Dill - to taste
- Parsley - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Ground Cumin - to taste
- Ground coriander - to taste
- Wheat Flour - 12.3 oz
- Water - 3 fl oz
- Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sift 300 g of flour into a bowl, mix it with salt and sugar, make a well in the center, and pour in the water. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it no longer sticks to your hands and the surface. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Prepare the filling — if necessary, chop the meat in a blender, add the onion, garlic, and herbs. Grind the spices in a mortar and add them to the filling. Season the filling with salt, add 50 ml of water, and mix well, letting it rest for about 15 minutes.
Step 3
Roll the dough into a sausage shape, cut off a piece about 5 cm in diameter, and roll it out thinly and evenly, cutting out a perfect circle with a mold (plate or saucer).
Step 4
On one half, place the filling in an even layer, leaving a 1 cm edge free, cover the cheburek with the other half, remove the air from inside, and seal the edge with a fork.
Step 5
Fry the chebureki in hot oil over medium heat for 2 minutes on each side.
Step 6
Place the finished chebureki in a pot with a lid to keep them soft (depending on personal preference).
