Ingredients
- Apple - 2 lbs
- Wheat Flour - 6.3 oz
- Cheshire Cheese - 6 oz
- Brown Sugar - 5.6 oz
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Milk - 2 fl oz
- Baking Powder - a pinch
- Butter - 2.6 oz
- Pecan - to taste
- Raisins - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix together sugar (120 grams), flour (80 grams), cinnamon, add peeled and thinly sliced apples and nuts, and stir. Place the apples in a buttered baking dish.
Step 3
Mix flour (100 grams), sugar (40 grams), baking powder, and salt. Add grated cheddar. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter and milk. Pour the mixture into the flour mixture and stir. Spread over the apples.
Step 4
Bake for 25–30 minutes in the oven until golden brown.
