  • Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
  • Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Cayenne Pepper - a pinch
  • Butter - 1.1 oz
  • Milk - 6 fl oz
  • Goat cheese - 1.4 oz
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 1.4 oz
  • Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 tablespoons
  • Cheshire Cheese - 1.4 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 428°F. Grease a baking sheet with butter.

Step 2

Sift the flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt, and cayenne pepper. Add the diced butter and mix with your hands until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add the milk and knead well. Add more flour if necessary.

Step 3

Place the dough on a floured surface and roll it out into a rectangle measuring 20x25 cm. Sprinkle the surface with crumbled goat cheese, then Parmesan, grated cheddar, and finally parsley. Starting from the long side, roll the dough into a log. Cut into 10 pieces, each 2 cm thick, shaping each piece into a bun so that the filling is inside. Transfer to the baking sheet, leaving 2 cm between each piece.

Step 4

Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Cool on the baking sheet and serve warm.
