Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Aged gouda cheese - 5.3 oz
- Chopped almonds - 2.6 oz
- Milk - 1 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Dr. Oetker baking powder - 0.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the cheese and chop the almonds. Set aside a few tablespoons for sprinkling the cookies.
Step 2
In a large bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder. Make a well and crack in the egg. Surround it with cubed butter. Top with grated cheese and almonds. Add the milk.
Step 3
Knead into a smooth dough. Form into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 4
Roll out the dough thinly and cut out shapes. You can use small cutters so that the cookies are bite-sized.
Step 5
Mix the reserved almonds and cheese. Either sprinkle or dip the cut-out cookie shapes in this mixture.
Step 6
Place the cookies in a preheated oven at 374°F for 10–15 minutes. Bake until the cookies are golden.
Step 7
Remove the finished cookies and let them cool.
