Ingredients
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 4.2 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Spices - to taste
- Cheese Spread - 8.5 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the cheese on a fine grater, mix it thoroughly with the flour until it coats all the cheese, add spices to taste (or just stick with salt and pepper), mix well and add the chopped soft butter.
Step 2
Knead the dough by hand. This will take a few minutes; the key is not to give up and to use a couple of tablespoons of water if the dough seems too dry.
Step 3
Once the dough is kneaded, it should be placed in the refrigerator for a couple of hours (or overnight).
Step 4
If you don't want to spend time rolling out the dough and cutting cookies with shapes, you can form it into a log before putting it in the refrigerator.
Step 5
Then, when you take it out of the refrigerator, you can simply slice it into pieces, place them on a baking sheet, and put them in the oven.
Step 6
Bake at 356°F for about 15 minutes.
