Cheese Curd Pie.

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 2 glasses
  • Butter - 5.3 oz
  • Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Cottage cheese - 14.1 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 5 pieces
  • Sugar - 1 glass
  • Vanilla salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Leave the butter at room temperature to soften. Once softened, add sugar, flour, and baking powder to the butter. Mix until the mixture resembles crumbly dough.

Step 2

For the filling, beat the eggs, add sugar, cottage cheese, and blend the mixture well (it’s preferable to blend the cottage cheese with an immersion blender for a smoother filling).

Step 3

Line the baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it with butter. Spread half of the dough in the dish. Add all of the filling and sprinkle the remaining dough crumbs on top.

Step 4

Bake the cheese pie in a preheated oven at 356°F for 30 to 45 minutes, until it turns golden brown. Leave the finished pie in the pan to cool slightly, as this will enhance the flavor of the cheese pie.
