Description
Let's start with the cottage cheese. I'm trying to slim down for my favorite dress, so I use low-fat cottage cheese, but you can choose a creamier one for better taste.
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 17.6 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - a pinch
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pass the cottage cheese through a sieve (I know it's not easy, but the result is worth it!), add the egg, baking soda (you can substitute it with a tablespoon of sour cream), and salt, and mix everything together.
Step 2
Then chop the pre-washed and dried green onions into small rings and combine them with the cottage cheese mixture. The amount of onion is not critical — it's up to personal preference. Next, add the sifted flour — the mixture for the pancakes is ready.
Step 3
It's best to cook in a ceramic skillet (oh, how I want to fit into my favorite dress!), in this case, you'll need very little vegetable oil. I like to fry in olive oil, but again, it's a matter of taste. Form small patties from the mixture with your hands, lightly dust with flour, and place them in the heated skillet.
Step 4
Brown on one side, flip, and cover with a lid for about 10 minutes, reducing the heat.
Step 5
Place the finished pancakes on a plate with a blue rim, and — your stomach's dream is before you.
