Description
This delicious pie is made with shortcrust pastry. You can also use store-bought puff pastry if you're short on time!
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- 10% cream - 7.1 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Basil - 1 bunch
- Marinated cherries - 7.1 oz
- Hard Cheese - 1.8 oz
- Butter - 6.3 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Cottage cheese - 17.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the dough, cut the butter into cubes, add 1 egg, salt, sugar, and gradually incorporate the sifted flour, mixing everything by hand until a homogeneous mass is formed. Quickly shape the mass into a soft, non-sticky ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix 1 egg, cottage cheese, sour cream, half of the finely chopped onion, basil, and grated cheese (I use any leftover cheese). Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 4
Roll out the dough and create edges.
Step 5
Pour the filling onto the sheet of dough and place the whole cherry tomatoes in different spots, trying to push them into the filling.
Step 6
Bake for about 40 minutes at 392°F.
