Cherry and Candied Fruit Cookies
Ingredients
- Candied fruits - 3.5 oz
- Frozen Cherimoya Fruits - 17.6 oz
- Honey - 2.6 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Cream - 5 fl oz
- Sugar - 6.2 oz
- Chopped almonds - 7.1 oz
- Fondant - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 2
Finely chop the candied orange peel and cherries.
Step 3
Combine honey with butter, cream, and sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add almond flakes to the honey-cream mixture, then after 5 minutes add the candied orange peel, and after another 3 minutes add the chopped cherries.
Step 5
Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12 minutes.
Step 6
Cool down. Invert the cake and remove the paper. Cut the cookies into diamond shapes.
Step 7
Melt the chocolate fondant in a water bath. Dip one end of the cookies into the fondant and let cool.
