Ingredients
- Dry yeast - 0.5 oz
- Milk - 7 fl oz
- Sugar - 4.2 oz
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Vanilla salt - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Marinated cherries - 10.6 oz
- Corn Starch - 0.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine milk, yeast, and 20 g of sugar.
Step 3
Mix well.
Step 4
Add 200 g of flour.
Step 5
Mix and let the dough rise for 20 minutes.
Step 6
In another bowl, cream the softened butter, 30 g of sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt.
Step 7
Add the eggs and mix.
Step 8
Combine with the risen dough.
Step 9
Add another 200 g of flour and knead the dough.
Step 10
Place the dough in a bag and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Step 11
Mix the cherries with cornstarch and 70 g of sugar.
Step 12
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 2–3 mm.
Step 13
Cut out a square approximately 10x10 cm.
Step 14
Make cuts.
Step 15
Roll it up.
Step 16
Add the filling.
Step 17
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 20 minutes.
