Description

  • Butter - 10.6 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
  • Wheat Flour - 16.8 oz
  • Powdered Sugar - 13.9 oz
  • Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
  • Milk - 3 fl oz
  • Marinated cherries - to taste
  • Ground Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Using a blender, combine the butter (200 grams) with the powdered sugar (325 grams).

Step 2

Add the eggs one at a time and achieve a uniform mixture.

Step 3

Incorporate the flour mixture (325 grams) and baking powder. Add the milk. Mix well, but do not overmix!

Step 4

Fill the lined baking pan with the batter and add the cherries.

Step 5

Now it's time to make the crumb topping. On a cutting board, chop the butter (100 grams) with the flour (150 grams). In a bowl, mix the resulting mixture with the powdered sugar (70 grams) and cinnamon. Then 'get your hands in there.' Use your fingers to crumble the mixture until it forms clumps. Gradually, you will achieve a nice crumb. Cover the cake with it.

Step 6

Bake in a preheated oven at 347°F for 45 minutes (it will rise, and the crumb will take on a nice golden hue).
