Description
Instead of cherries, you can add dried apricots, raisins, and other dried fruits. The Jerusalem artichoke syrup can be replaced with sorghum.
Ingredients
- Coarsely Ground Rye Flour - 2 cups
- Jerusalem Artichoke - ½ cup
- Flaxseeds - 2 tablespoons
- Walnuts - 4.6 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Water - 13 fl oz
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
- Frozen Cherimoya Fruits - 10.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the rye flour, baking soda, chopped walnuts, and salt.
Step 2
Soak the flaxseed meal in a small amount of water and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3
Combine the flaxseed mixture, Jerusalem artichoke syrup, and honey.
Step 4
Add the flour, water, and mix well.
Step 5
Add a few cherries and blend with a blender.
Step 6
Fold in the remaining cherries with a spoon.
Step 7
Divide the mixture into molds and bake at 160-170°C.
