Description
Yields approximately 10–12 muffins depending on the size of the molds.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa Powder - 3 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract - to taste
- Marinated cherries - to taste
- Milk - 2 tablespoons
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with the sugar.
Step 2
Measure 100 grams of flour and set aside 3 tablespoons, replacing them with 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
Step 3
Combine the egg mixture with the flour and add room temperature butter, mixing well with a mixer until the butter lumps disappear.
Step 4
Add the milk and mix well again.
Step 5
In the prepared batter, add the pitted cherries (fresh or frozen, thawed beforehand). Mix well. If the cherries are very juicy, drain them in a sieve to remove excess juice.
Step 6
Grease the muffin molds. Fill them with batter to 2/3 full.
Step 7
Bake in the oven at 356°F for about 15 minutes. Check for doneness with a wooden stick.
