Description
Cherry pie made with cottage cheese dough.
Ingredients
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Sugar - 6.3 oz
- Cottage cheese - 5.3 oz
- Gelatin - 0.4 oz
- Frozen Cherimoya Fruits - 17.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the butter into pieces and mix it with the flour. Stir until the mixture is almost uniform.
Step 2
Add sugar and cottage cheese, quickly knead the dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Step 3
Place the frozen cherries in a saucepan, add sugar, and set over low heat. If the cherries are sour, you can increase the amount of sugar.
Step 4
Soak the gelatin in cold water (about 50 ml) separately for 10–15 minutes.
Step 5
When the cherries come to a boil, turn off the heat and add the gelatin. Stir everything thoroughly and let it cool to room temperature.
Step 6
Roll the dough out to a thickness of about 0.5–1 cm and spread it in the baking dish. Bake at 356°F for 15–20 minutes.
Step 7
Place the cherry (without the liquid — save the juice) on the prepared base and put it in the refrigerator. Once the base has cooled, pour a little cherry juice over it and immediately return it to the cold. After about an hour, the pie will set and can be served.
