Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 7.9 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 5 fl oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Natural Yogurt - 5 fl oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Dr. Oetker baking powder - 0.4 oz
- Pecan - 1.8 oz
- Caramel Syrup - 3 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, combine the eggs, neutral vegetable oil, thick unsweetened yogurt, and sugar. Add 25 g of flour to prevent the mixture from separating.
Step 2
Whisk until smooth.
Step 3
Chop the pecans in a blender and add them to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
Step 4
Add the remaining sifted flour and baking powder. Mix well. Pour into a 22–23 cm mold. Place in a preheated oven at 338°F for 50 minutes. Check the pie's readiness with a bamboo skewer.
Step 5
Once the pie is ready, remove it and prick the surface all over with a bamboo skewer while warm, then soak it with cherry syrup.
Step 6
Three tablespoons are enough. Allow the pie to cool in the mold and absorb the syrup's aroma.
Step 7
Remove from the mold and transfer to a plate. Decorate with powdered sugar and fresh cherries.
