Ingredients
- Peeled chestnuts - 10 pieces
- Black Bean Paste - 10.6 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Soy Sauce - to taste
- Poppy seed paste - 3 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Baking Powder - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the chestnuts and boil them. Place the boiled chestnuts on a paper towel and let them dry.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 3
Beat 1 egg and mix it with the soy paste, flour with baking powder, and sugar.
Step 4
Divide the dough into portions according to the number of chestnuts. Roll out the dough thinly and wrap each chestnut. Brush the chestnuts in dough with the egg mixed with soy sauce, and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Step 5
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake until done for 10 – 15 minutes.
