Chicken and Broccoli Quiche

Ingredients

  • Broccoli - 7.1 oz
  • Chicken fillet - 14.1 oz
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 7.1 oz
  • Cream 22% - 7.1 oz
  • Ground Nutmeg - a pinch
  • Wheat Flour - 4 glasses
  • Butter - 7.1 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
  • Sugar - 2 spoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Melt the butter for the dough, but do not heat it. Add sugar, a teaspoon of salt, and mix with 2 eggs.

Step 2

Sift the flour and knead the dough. Place it in the refrigerator for an hour.

Step 3

For the filling, cut the chicken fillet into small cubes and sauté in a skillet until cooked through.

Step 4

Cut the broccoli into small florets.

Step 5

For the egg mixture, beat the eggs, but not into a foam, just like for an omelet. Pour in the cream. Add nutmeg, salt, and pepper, and whisk well. Add the cheese and mix again thoroughly.

Step 6

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it out into a sheet. Line the baking dish with the dough, prick it with a fork, cover it with parchment paper, and fill it with beans (regular beans can be used). Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 5 minutes.

Step 7

Remove the dish from the oven, take out the parchment paper and beans. Place the chicken breast and broccoli in the dish. Pour the sauce over and bake for another 30 minutes at the same temperature.
