Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken Liver - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Cream 22% - 7 fl oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 5.3 oz
- Marinated cherries - 5 pieces
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the dough, mix room temperature butter, flour, and salt in a blender bowl until crumbly.
Step 2
Pour in cold water and mix again.
Step 3
Gather the dough into a ball and place it on a floured surface, knead until smooth.
Step 4
Roll out into a thick disc (the dough may tear, which is normal).
Step 5
Place the dough in a greased springform pan, spread it across the bottom, and create edges 3 cm high. Refrigerate for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Rinse the chicken liver, remove membranes and veins.
Step 7
Peel and chop the onion.
Step 8
Sauté the onion and liver in a pan with butter for 3 minutes, stirring.
Step 9
Transfer to a blender bowl and chop.
Step 10
Add eggs, cream, salt to the liver mixture, and blend until smooth.
Step 11
Cover the dough with parchment paper, add beans on top, and bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 356°F.
Step 12
Remove, take off the paper and beans, and let cool slightly.
Step 13
Spread the filling onto the dough.
Step 14
Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Step 15
Garnish with slices of cherry tomatoes.
Step 16
Bake for 25 minutes at 374°F.
