Ingredients
- Butter - 6.2 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Cocoa Powder - 1.4 oz
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 4.4 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - 5 teaspoons
- Citrus Zest Mix - 1 teaspoon
- Chopped almonds - 1.4 oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the dough: combine butter, egg, powdered sugar, add cocoa powder and flour, lemon zest, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
Step 2
Roll the dough into a log, coat it in a mixture of crushed almonds and the remaining cinnamon. Place in the freezer for 1 hour.
Step 3
Slice the chilled dough (log) into rounds about 0.5–1 cm thick.
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 12 minutes. The cookies are ready.
