Chocolate Almond Pudding
Ingredients
- Self-Raising Flour - 5.3 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 4.4 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Ground Almonds - 1.4 oz
- Bittersweet Chocolate - 1.8 oz
- Muscovado Sugar - 8.8 oz
- Melted Butter - 1.8 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Milk - 6 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Grease a square baking dish with a side of 23 cm (9 inches). Sift the flour, 25 g of cocoa powder, and salt into a bowl.
Step 2
Add the almonds, chocolate, and 125 g of sugar, then the melted butter, egg, and milk. Pour the batter into the dish.
Step 3
Dissolve the remaining sugar and cocoa in 450 ml of boiling water, gently pour into the dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes – the puddings should rise and become firm. Serve immediately while the dessert is still warm.
