- Chopped almonds - 7.1 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 7.1 oz
- Amaretto Liqueur - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar - 8.8 oz
- Water - 8 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the syrup by combining sugar and water: place a saucepan on the stove, pour in the water, add the sugar, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to medium, and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Remove the saucepan from the heat, break the chocolate into pieces and add it to the syrup, then add the almonds and stir.
Step 3
Line a baking tray of suitable size with parchment paper and pour in the torrone mixture, cool it down and refrigerate for two hours.
Step 4
Cut into small rectangles and serve.
