The tone is set by a coffee-chocolate liqueur, whose flavor is strongly associated with cozy winter gatherings by the fireplace, making it a perfect choice for a New Year's feast. If there are children at the table and you're concerned about the alcoholic notes in desserts, you can replace the liqueur with chocolate syrup.

  • Butter - 3.5 oz
  • Cookie - 8.8 oz
  • Semi-soft cream cheese - 21.2 oz
  • Egg Liqueur - 1 fl oz
  • Powdered Sugar - 2.1 oz
  • 33% Cream - 10 fl oz
  • Bittersweet Chocolate - 3.5 oz
  • Cocoa Powder - to taste

Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the crushed cookies, and mix well until the cookies absorb all the butter.
