Chocolate and Strawberry Cake

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 11 oz
  • Baking Powder - 0.2 oz
  • Cocoa Powder - 2.6 oz
  • Activated Baking Soda - 0.3 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
  • Milk - 8 fl oz
  • Vegetable Oil - 4 fl oz
  • Boiling water - 8 fl oz
  • 33% Cream - 7 fl oz
  • Sugar - 1.8 oz
  • Cream 22% - 5.3 oz
  • Chocolate - 4.4 oz
  • Strawberry - 5.3 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Batter. Beat the eggs with sugar. Add all the dry ingredients. Mix well. Add milk and oil, and beat with a mixer. Add a cup of boiling water to the batter and mix again. Lightly grease the baking pan with oil, pour in the batter, and bake at 320°F for 60–70 minutes.

Step 2

Cream. Whip the cream with sugar until thickened.

Step 3

Ganache. In a saucepan, heat the cream and chocolate. Stir until smooth. Cool the mixture until it can be spread.

Step 4

Cut the cooled cake in half. Spread whipped cream on one half and join the two parts of the cake. Spread ganache on top of the cake and decorate with strawberries.
