Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
- Cocoa Powder - 6 tablespoons
- Butter - 5.6 oz
- Sugar - 5 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract - to taste
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Apple - 24.7 oz
- Water - 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sift the flour with cocoa powder. Mix with room temperature butter.
Step 2
Add sugar, beat in the eggs, and add vanilla extract. Pour in the water and knead the dough.
Step 3
Roll out the dough, place it in a greased baking dish, and trim the edges. Place in the refrigerator. Preheat the oven to 347°F.
Step 4
Wash the apples, peel them, and cut them into cubes.
Step 5
In a saucepan, heat the butter, add half of the apples, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cook until soft.
Step 6
Turn off the heat, add the remaining apples and cocoa powder.
Step 7
Take the dough out of the refrigerator, poke the base with a fork, and fill it with apples.
Step 8
Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 35–40 minutes.
