Description
Chocolate Brownie Cake with Dark Beer
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Brown Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 5 pieces
- Butter - 4.6 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Dark Ale - 8 fl oz
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Liquid dark chocolate - 3.5 oz
- Bittersweet Chocolate - 7.1 oz
- Heavy cream - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Line a baking pan (preferably a springform pan) with parchment paper and brush the paper with vegetable oil.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 356°F. In a water bath, melt the butter and chocolate while stirring. Bring to a smooth mixture.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs with sugar for 3 minutes until the mixture turns pale and frothy, then pour in the melted chocolate.
Step 4
Sift the flour (mixed with baking powder and salt) into the egg, sugar, and melted chocolate mixture, then mix everything with a mixer.
Step 5
Gradually pour in the beer while continuing to mix on low speed until smooth. Pour the prepared mixture into the lined pan and bake in the oven for 20–25 minutes.
Step 6
While the brownies are in the oven, melt the milk chocolate with the cream using the same water bath method. Once the brownies are done and cooled, cover them with the glaze. Place in the refrigerator for a few hours.
