Ingredients
- Butter - 6.2 oz
- 70% Dark Chocolate - 5.1 oz
- Sugar - 6.2 oz
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 4.9 oz
- Walnuts - 5.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the nuts, spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet, and roast in the oven at 302°F (about 20 minutes).
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a square baking dish (24x24 cm), place two strips of parchment paper crosswise, leaving the edges hanging over the sides. Grease the bottom and sides of the dish with butter.
Step 3
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and let it cool slightly. The chocolate should be just warm when you start mixing it with the other ingredients.
Step 4
In a mixer, beat the butter until it is soft and creamy, then add the chocolate. Gradually add the eggs, sugar, flour, and nuts one at a time.

Spread the dough in the mold and smooth the surface using a silicone spatula.

Bake for 20-25 minutes at 180°C (350°F). The result should be as follows: the surface should have a dry and fairly firm crust, while the inside should be moist (check with a toothpick or knife).

After baking, the cake should sit in the pan for about 30 minutes. Then, using the overhanging edges of the parchment paper, remove it from the pan and allow it to cool for another 30 minutes. Cut the cake into equal squares.

Store at room temperature in a container or wrapped in plastic wrap.
