Description
Chocolate Cake According to GOST
Ingredients
- Cocoa Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Chocolate eggs - 5 pieces
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 4.4 oz
- Condensed Milk - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Water - 2 fl oz
- Brandy - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with sugar (125 grams) until white. Add the sifted flour mixed with cocoa. Mix gently. This will make the batter.
Step 2
Pour into a mold and bake at 180°C until a dry matchstick comes out (I made half the batter and used an 18 cm mold).
Step 3
While the cake is baking, prepare the cream. Whip the condensed milk with butter, add cocoa (50 grams) mixed with vegetable oil. A nice cream will result, shiny, with the aroma of boiled condensed milk and chocolate.
Step 4
The sponge cake is ready. It needs to be removed from the mold and cooled. If you have time, let it sit overnight in the kitchen under a towel. If you don't have time, then cut the cooled sponge cake into 3 layers. Soak each layer with syrup (75 grams of sugar + water + brandy).
Step 5
Spread cream between the layers. Coat the top and sides. Decorate as desired. I sprinkled the sides with walnuts. Store the cake in the refrigerator and take it out an hour before serving.
