Ingredients

  • Liquid dark chocolate - 7.1 oz
  • Butter - 3.5 oz
  • Wheat Flour - 2.1 oz
  • Milk - 3 spoons
  • Sugar - 5.3 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Powdered Sugar - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Melt pieces of chopped chocolate in a double boiler. Cut the butter into cubes and slowly incorporate them into the chocolate mixture until it becomes smooth and homogeneous. Then, remove the pot from the heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.

Step 2

Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Whisk the yolks with half of the sugar until the mixture becomes airy. Add the chocolate mixture, milk, and flour, and mix everything well.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, combine the egg whites, a pinch of salt, and the remaining sugar, and whip until frothy. Then, gently fold the mixture into the chocolate mixture (or batter) using a wooden spatula, stirring gently.

Step 4

Grease a 24 cm cake pan with butter, dust it with flour, and pour the chocolate mixture into it.

Step 5

Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 25–30 minutes, then turn off the oven and let the cake cool with the oven door slightly ajar. Once the cake has cooled, carefully remove it from the pan and dust it with powdered sugar mixed with vanilla.
