Chocolate cake with cottage cheese and coconut balls

Ingredients

  • Butter - 3.5 oz
  • Cocoa Powder - 2 cups
  • Ground Coffee - 1 teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour - 4.2 oz
  • Sugar - 4.2 oz
  • Cream 22% - 2 fl oz
  • Baking Powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Cottage cheese - 8.8 oz
  • Desiccated coconut - 2.5 oz
  • Egg white - 1 piece
  • Powdered Sugar - 1.8 oz
  • Corn Starch - 2 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Prepare the filling. To do this, place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Put in the refrigerator to let the filling set slightly.

Step 2

Prepare the dough. Melt the butter, add the sugar, and stir until smooth. Add the cocoa and coffee, and mix. Pour in the cream and stir. Bring the mixture to a boil and remove from heat. Reserve 60 ml of the mixture for the glaze. Pour the remaining chocolate mixture into a bowl and cool. Once cooled, add the eggs and beat with a mixer. Mix the flour with the baking powder, sift, and add to the dough. Stir.

Step 3

Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour. Place the cottage cheese balls at the bottom of the dish, leaving some space between them. Pour the chocolate dough on top.

Step 4

Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 1 hour. Heat the remaining glaze and pour it over the finished cake, then sprinkle with shredded coconut.
