- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Chopped almonds - 3.5 oz
- Bittersweet Chocolate - 5.3 oz
- Egg white - 4 pieces

- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Cream - ½ cup
- Marinated cherries - 20 pieces
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Whisk the egg yolks with 125 grams of sugar until smooth. Then add the sifted flour, ground almonds, and grated chocolate.
Step 2
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until frothy and gently fold them into the main mixture.
Step 3
Grease a cake pan with butter and lightly dust with flour. Pour the batter into the pan and place it in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes.
Step 4
Place the cherries in a saucepan, add wine and sugar, and cook for about 10 minutes, then remove the cherries.
Step 5
Whip the cream with powdered sugar. Cover the top and sides of the cake with whipped cream, decorate with cherries, and drizzle with syrup.
