Ingredients
- Butter - 6.2 oz
- Sugar - 7.9 oz
- Vanilla extract - 0 fl oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 9.7 oz
- Baking Powder - 0.4 oz
- Water - 10 fl oz
- Cocoa Powder - 1.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix softened butter with sugar until light lemon color.
Step 2
Beat 3 egg yolks, add vanilla extract.
Step 3
Sift flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Add to the egg mixture along with water. Whip the egg whites and fold into the butter mixture.
Step 4
Divide the dough into 2 parts, roll out, and spread the butter filling on each layer. Combine and bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 25 minutes.
Step 5
Cool and drizzle with chocolate glaze or serve with coffee ice cream.
