Ingredients
- Cheshire Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Sour Cream - 2.1 oz
- Margarine - 2 tablespoons
- Powdered Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Baking Powder - 1½ teaspoons
- Orange Syrup - 2.5 oz
- Chopped almonds - 2.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 374°F. Mash the melted cheese.
Step 2
Beat the eggs with sugar and combine with the cheese.
Step 3
Mix the margarine with sour cream and salt. Sift the flour with baking powder, combine with the egg mixture, and knead the dough.
Step 4
Grease the muffin molds with margarine, fill with dough to 2/3 full, and place in the oven for 20 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the finished muffins from the oven and scoop out a small portion from the center of each muffin using a teaspoon.
Step 6
Crumble all the 'centers', mix with nuts and jam. Fill the muffins with the resulting mixture.
