Chocolate Chip Muffins in Honey Syrup

Ingredients

  • White Chocolate - 3.2 oz
  • Liquid dark chocolate - 3.2 oz
  • Butter - 3.5 oz
  • Sugar - 3.5 oz
  • Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
  • Honey - 1.8 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
  • Water - 3 fl oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cream the butter with the sugar (it's better to warm the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds).

Step 2

Break the chocolate into pieces about 0.5 cm.

Step 3

Beat the eggs and add the chocolate pieces.

Step 4

Add the butter and sugar mixture to the eggs with chocolate. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 5

Add a cup of flour (250 grams) and a tablespoon of baking powder to the mixture.

Step 6

Grease the muffin tins with butter and fill them with the batter to 2/3 full.

Step 7

Preheat the oven to 392°F (about 400 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake the muffins for 25 minutes (check readiness with a toothpick).

Step 8

While the muffins are baking, make the honey syrup by mixing 50 grams of honey with warm water (100 ml).

Step 9

Once baked, remove the muffins from the tins and let them sit for 5–10 minutes.

Step 10

Then dip each muffin in the honey syrup for 3–5 seconds.
