  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Sugar - 6.7 oz
  • Butter - 5.3 oz
  • Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
  • Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Milk - 3 fl oz
  • Nuts - 3.5 oz
  • Cocoa Powder - 0.5 oz
  • Ground Coffee - 1 teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease the baking pan with butter and line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

Beat the eggs with sugar until the mixture doubles in volume. Heat the milk and add cocoa and coffee. Remove from heat when the dry ingredients dissolve. Add room temperature butter, cut into pieces, to the egg mixture. Whisk together.

Step 3

Add the milk mixture to the eggs. Sift the flour with baking powder into the batter, gently folding with a spatula. Chop the nuts, add them to the batter, and mix.

Step 4

Pour the batter into the pan and bake in the oven for 45 minutes. Check the cake's readiness with a wooden skewer. If the skewer comes out dry, the cake is ready.
